In a significant move to fast-track developmental initiatives in Manipur, the Hon’ble Governor of Manipur, Shri Ajay Kumar Bhalla, and Union Minister of Development of North Eastern Region (DoNER), Shri Jyotiraditya M. Scindia, jointly chaired a high-level review meeting in Imphal on Friday.
The meeting assessed the progress of major projects being implemented in the state under the Ministry of DoNER and the North Eastern Council (NEC), with a focus on accelerating execution and delivering tangible outcomes that align with the broader vision of sustainable and inclusive growth in the region.

“This is a crucial moment to transform Manipur’s development landscape. We must focus on execution, not just planning,” said the Governor.

Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia reiterated the central government’s commitment to supporting Manipur’s progress through targeted interventions and special schemes under DoNER and NEC.
