Chief Minister Yumnam Khemchand Singh inaugurated the newly constructed District Institute of Education and Training (DIET) building under Samagra Shiksha (Teacher Education) and the Ima Market developed under SASCI at Salam, Imphal West. The DIET building is expected to enhance teacher training and capacity-building, while the Ima Market provides improved infrastructure for local vendors, supporting livelihoods and preserving the spirit of the Ima Keithel tradition.
