Security forces in Manipur continue to maintain a strong presence in fringe and vulnerable areas across the state, conducting search operations and area domination patrols to prevent any untoward incidents.
According to official sources, the movement of 118 vehicles carrying essential goods along NH-37 was successfully facilitated today. Security escorts were provided in sensitive stretches, ensuring the safe and uninterrupted flow of supplies to various districts.
Heightened Security Across the State
To further strengthen vigilance, a total of 112 Nakas/Checkpoints have been set up in strategic locations across the hills and the valley. These checkpoints are manned round-the-clock to deter any illegal activity and enhance public safety.
Officials confirmed that while strict monitoring was carried out, no detentions were made at any of these checkpoints during the day.
