The final Photo Electoral Roll for the 49–Tadubi (ST) Assembly Constituency in Manipur has been officially published following the Special Summary Revision with January 1, 2026 as the qualifying date.
According to the Office of the Chief Electoral Officer Manipur, the final roll was released on Tuesday by the concerned Electoral Registration Officer (ERO) in accordance with the schedule set by the Election Commission of India.
The updated electoral list records a total of 49,871 voters in the constituency, marking an increase from 48,896 electors listed in the draft roll published on February 9, 2026.
Increase in Electorate
Official figures show that the revised roll includes 25,036 male voters and 24,835 female voters, resulting in a gender ratio of 992 female voters per 1,000 male voters.
The Elector Population (EP) ratio for the constituency stands at 40.52 percent, while the number of polling stations remains unchanged at 82.
During the revision process, 1,172 new electors were enrolled in the constituency. At the same time, 197 names were removed from the electoral roll following verification procedures.
The roll also includes 496 service electors, representing voters serving in government or defence services outside their home constituency.
Public Access to Electoral Rolls
Officials stated that members of the public, political party representatives, and registered electors can inspect the final electoral roll at designated offices.
Copies of the rolls are available at the offices of the Electoral Registration Officers, Assistant Electoral Registration Officers (AEROs), and Booth Level Officers (BLOs) within the constituency. The list has also been made accessible online through the official website of the Chief Electoral Officer, Manipur.
Meeting with Political Parties
Ahead of the publication, election officials conducted a meeting with representatives of national and state political parties to brief them on the revision process and related procedures.
The meeting was presided over by Shailesh Kumar Chourasia, who handed over copies of the final electoral rolls to party representatives.
Separately, a district-level meeting was also held under the chairmanship of Mamoni Doley, who serves as the District Election Officer for Senapati. The discussion focused on the publication and distribution of the electoral rolls for the Tadubi constituency.
Provision for Appeals
Election authorities have clarified that electors or concerned parties may file an appeal against decisions made by the Electoral Registration Officer.
Such appeals can be submitted to the District Magistrate of Senapati under Section 24(a) of the Representation of the People Act, 1950. A further appeal may be made to the Chief Electoral Officer, Manipur under Section 24(b), in accordance with the Registration of Electors Rules, 1960.
Officials said the revision process aims to ensure that electoral rolls remain accurate, inclusive and transparent for future elections.
