Joint Team Conducts Poppy Destruction Drive in Kangpokpi District

50 Acres of Illegal Poppy Cultivation Destroyed

A joint team comprising Kangpokpi District Police, CRPF, Forest Division Kangpokpi, and SDC Saikul Block conducted a poppy destruction drive along the riverbanks of Ethoi at Somphung village, located in Lhungtin sub-division under Saikul Police Station, Kangpokpi District.

During the operation, authorities successfully destroyed 50 acres of illegal poppy plantations, reinforcing their commitment to curbing illicit cultivation and protecting the environment.
