The Government of Manipur has officially scrapped the long-pending 2019 recruitment process for various posts in the state’s two power companies—MSPCL (Manipur State Power Company Limited) and MSPDCL (Manipur State Power Distribution Company Limited).
In a notification issued by the Power Department, the decision was taken during the Governor-in-Council meeting on August 14, 2025.

The Power Department will soon submit a fresh requisition of posts to SSC as per current vacancies.
