In a crackdown against illegal liquor trade, Manipur Police arrested a man with a massive haul of 101 litres of DIC liquor in Kakching district.
The accused, identified as Leimapokpam Onil Singh (39), a resident of Thongjao Charik under Waikhong Police Station, was apprehended during a routine operation. The confiscated illicit liquor has been handed over to the Sugnu Excise Department for further legal proceedings.
“The drive against illegal liquor continues to be a priority for district police forces,” said a senior official from Kakching Police.
