The Manipur State Power Distribution Company Limited (MSPDCL) has announced rotational load shedding across various areas during morning and peak evening hours in response to ongoing supply constraints.
According to the utility, the measure is necessary to balance demand and supply, particularly during the high-consumption periods when electricity usage surges.
Schedule and Impact
While the exact timing will vary by locality, the morning cuts are expected between 5:00 AM and 8:00 AM, and evening peak interruptions between 5:00 PM and 9:00 PM. MSPDCL has urged consumers to check area-specific schedules issued through its official channels.
Essential services such as hospitals and water supply installations will be given priority to avoid disruptions.
