🇮🇳🇲🇽 Senior Indian Foreign Service (IFS) officer Ngulkham Jathom Gangte, a native of Manipur, has been appointed as India’s next Ambassador to Mexico, according to the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA). A 1994-batch IFS officer, Gangte currently serves as Special Secretary (Establishment) in the MEA and is expected to assume his new assignment shortly. During his diplomatic career, he has held several key positions, including in the West Asia and North Africa Division and at the Sushma Swaraj Institute of Foreign Service.
