The Department of Youth Affairs & Sports, Government of Manipur, organised a Panel Discussion-cum-Workshop on “Inherent Support System for Promotion of Sports in Manipur” at the State Youth Centre, Khuman Lampak.
The programme served as a platform for experts, stakeholders, and sports enthusiasts to share insights on strengthening Manipur’s sports ecosystem and nurturing the next generation of champions.
Speakers highlighted Manipur’s legacy of producing outstanding athletes and called for greater institutional support, community participation, and scientific training methods to sustain and expand the state’s sporting excellence.
The workshop reaffirmed the Government’s commitment to building a holistic framework for sports development, ensuring that young talents continue to thrive on national and international stages.
