PLA Cadre Apprehended Near Indo-Myanmar Border in Kamjong District

In a major security operation, Central Forces apprehended an active cadre of the People’s Liberation Army (PLA) from the general area of Kultuh village, near Indo-Myanmar Border Pillars 114 & 115, under Chassad Police Station in Kamjong District, Manipur.

Identity of the Arrested Individual

The individual has been identified as Saikhom Mahesh Singh (23).

Items Recovered

During the operation, security forces recovered the following items from his possession:

• One Pistol
• Six 9mm Live Rounds
• One Chinese Grenade
• One Radio Set
• One Mobile Phone
