Manipur Police recovered 28 soap cases containing approximately 328 grams of suspected brown sugar from an abandoned bag during routine patrolling between Parbung and Lungthulien villages under Parbung Police Station in Pherzawl district. Police said the suspected carrier fled into the adjoining forest after noticing the patrol and escaped under the cover of darkness. Further investigation is underway.
