In a major counter-insurgency operation, security forces apprehended four active cadres of the proscribed outfit KCP (Taibanganba) from Langthabal Khunou under Khongjom Police Station, Thoubal district.
The arrested individuals have been identified as:

Lisham Premika Devi (33), resident of Khongman Zone-II, Imphal East

Nandeibam Noni Devi (53), resident of Khongman Atom Leikai, Imphal East

Heikham Ravi Meitei (38), resident of Senjam Chirang Mayai Leikai, Lamsang, Imphal West
During the operation, security personnel recovered the following items from their possession:
05 mobile handsets
₹1,666 in cash
02 Aadhaar cards
The arrest marks a significant blow to the activities of KCP (Taibanganba) in the region, as the group has been involved in extortion and underground operations. The detainees, along with the seized items, have been handed over to the concerned police authorities for further legal action and investigation.
