In a vibrant display of patriotism and unity, State President Smt. Adhikarimayum Sharda Devi joined former Chief Minister Shri N. Biren Singh for a spirited Tiranga Rally in Heingang Mandal.
The event, held under the nationwide #HarGharTiranga campaign, also saw the participation of State Vice President Shri Nongthombam Nimbus Singh, State General Secretary Shri L. Deben Singh, State Spokesperson Shri Preshow Shimray, Imphal East District President Shri P. December Singh, and a large contingent of dedicated karyakartas.
Waving the tricolour, participants rode and marched through the streets, spreading the message of unity, national pride, and collective responsibility in the run-up to Independence Day 2025. Residents lined the route, joining in the chants of “Bharat Mata Ki Jai” and “Vande Mataram,” adding to the charged atmosphere.
Speaking at the rally, leaders emphasized the significance of the campaign in instilling a sense of belonging and commitment to the nation, especially among the youth. They called on every household to proudly hoist the national flag, not just as a symbol, but as a reminder of the sacrifices that made India free.
The rally concluded with a pledge to uphold the values of unity, integrity, and patriotism — the very ideals the tricolour represents.
