The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has arrested another key suspect in connection with the horrifying November 2024 killings in Jiribam district, Manipur, where three women and three minor children were abducted and brutally murdered.
The arrested individual has been identified as Lalrosang Hmar, alias Rosang, a resident of Moinathol village, located in Dilkhosh Grant, Cachar district, Assam.
This is the second major breakthrough in the case, following the earlier arrest of Thanglienlal Hmar alias Boya, a prime conspirator, made jointly by NIA and Assam Police.

On November 11, 2024, militants abducted three women and three children from Borebekra area, Jiribam. Days later, their bodies were discovered near the Barak River, sparking outrage across Manipur and beyond.
