Thuingaleng Muivah, the veteran General Secretary of the NSCN (IM), was admitted to the Christian Institute of Health Sciences and Research (CIHSR) in Dimapur after testing positive for COVID-19.
Muivah was rushed to the hospital on July 24, reportedly after feeling “uneasy” — two days after participating in a high-level meeting with the Core Committee on the Naga Political Issue.
Despite initial concerns, doctors have clarified that Muivah is stable, asymptomatic, and under routine observation.
