⛽ The Manipur Petroleum Transporters & Drivers Association has begun its ‘Steering Wheel Down Strike’ today, demanding that the State enact a law to curb alleged illegal tax collection along NH-37. During the strike, members will suspend the loading and transportation of petrol and LPG from key depots. The association said discussions with the government did not result in a concrete resolution and appealed for public support, stating that illegal tax collection contributes to higher transportation costs and inflation.
