As part of the ongoing National Integration Tour (NIT) organised by the Assam Rifles under its Civic Action Programme, students from Berean Baptist Academy, Noney (Manipur) had a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to meet Smt Droupadi Murmu, the Hon’ble President of India, and visit national monuments of historical and patriotic importance.
The visit took place on 26 October 2025, beginning at Rashtrapati Bhavan, where the young participants were warmly welcomed for an interaction with the President. The meeting turned into a deeply inspiring experience for the students, who listened intently as President Murmu spoke about education, discipline, and their vital role in shaping the future of the nation.
A Day of Learning and Inspiration
The President’s message focused on the values of unity, service, and integrity, reminding the students that the strength of India lies in its diversity and the dreams of its young citizens. “You are the future custodians of our democracy. Work hard, stay grounded, and always remember the value of empathy,” she reportedly told the students.
Following the interaction, the delegation was taken on a guided tour of Rashtrapati Bhavan, offering them a glimpse into the grandeur of India’s most iconic seat of leadership. The students learned about the architectural beauty, historical evolution, and symbolic importance of the Presidential Estate — experiences that blended education with patriotism.

The National Integration Tour is one of the flagship initiatives of the Assam Rifles, aimed at promoting cultural understanding, national pride, and social harmony among the youth from remote and diverse regions.
